Amid the buzz of the election in Mass today something dramatic happened in the Supreme Court that might fundamentally change the United States and how government works. and of course it benefits the Right.
The Supreme Court said that now corporations can donate as much money as they want to a politician with no limit.
This means that any company can spend millions or billions of dollars with no oversite or limit to support a candidate.
The implications are that deep pocketed corporations could singlehandidly outspend the combined population of all US citizens donations. This reverses over 100 years of laws. It hurts both parties but it is easy to see how it helps republicans and their big corporate sponsors more. Oil, Insurance, Military. Think about it.
Remember this day.
