Sarah palin would be our worst nightmare–all mouth and she doesnt even respect the america we all love–she has a fake adventure in alaska to show how down to earth she is…all she would be in Government is a pawn for the republicans to control all—she has been used and doesnt even know it—the bad part of it all is many americans would vote for her ( not knowing what they did) and it woukld destroy our well efforts to be number one—I cant even imagine her as Governor of alaska– well again i can– she talks to the animals like the polar bear who does not repond back—wow that sure gives her qualifications to run for office—then her daughter who feels the world owes her a dance contest–wow whats become of us–i quess you can buy anything today she does anything to keep people thinking about her—what does she know on how to handle the worldly problems ZERO — President obama needs to find his spirit again– when he does.. he can win at anything— Mr President dont let anyone step on you again we believe in you– so start believing in you.. you have more power than you know—

When Obama was elected Pres., it was like a new hope for the World. Now just two years into his administration, he is about to go from the White House to the outhouse. How fickle and gullible are the voters? Obama needs to toughen up and come out swinging for what he believes in. The election was bought and paid for by a lot of right wing politicians and wealthy big shots seeking tax breaks for themselves and their friends, but to hell with the lower income working people. The next few years are going to be George W. Bush deja vu unless Obama and the Democrats wake up and fight for a more fair America. Wake up, Americans or you will wish you hadn’t believed all the lies you were told during this election, but it may be too late to do anything about it. Lets get behind this Pres. He took on a tough task and was beginning to change things around. He deserves our wholehearted support!

Pragmatist.

If you want a middle class you need to have a fairer sharing of the tax burden.

This is not an opinion it is a fact.

Compulsory military service forces congress and presidents to really get consensus on action. For those that dont or cant do the military then national service.

The point here is to shed the old thinking and be open to new ways to be competitive in the world economy

Wow…more socialist thinking….yay.

Taxes proportionate to income is garbage. The rich are citizens no more or less than the poor. We should all be paying the same percentage of our income, realizing that the rich will still be paying a far larger share of the burden than the poor. This is not animal farm, it’s the USA.

Compulsory military service, while I believe it would do many young men/women good, is equivalent to involuntary servitude and it has no place in this country. What makes great soldiers is their willingness to serve. You don’t get that from mandatory service. I’m a vet, so I speak from experience.

Immigration reform is fine, as long as we don’t open the doors to free-loaders who will further burden the producers of the world. Open door policy is a disaster waiting to happen. Tolerance for all is a pipe dream…you cannot legislate beliefs.

I’m 100% with you on term limits for ALL politicians. When politics becomes a career, corruption is guaranteed, not just likely.

I must say this article was well written and for that time it was right on point. The ironic thing here is, this article is still relevent today in saying enough is enough. Just one mistake?

The economic problem started with the housing industry and that’s where he should have reigned in the financial crisis. But from the get go, he was bound and determined to pass health care legislation. He concentrated on nothing but that.So while Rome burns Obama’s fiddling away just so he can have a legacy.

Oh yeah, he’ll have a legacy alright. He’s going to make Jimmy Carter look like an altar boy.
